gameposter

the fonts I used I chose because I felt they were the best game fonts I could find in time. And the tools I used were masking, hue and saturation, patch tool, and the brush. My feelings of the project are that it was fun and very entertaining also that it was very creative. I mean by that, that it brought forth the creative juices to ready us for Graphic Design II.capture

what I did in the steps was very simple and easy to follow. But I had trouble reading them to their entirety and actually had to start all over after reading most of it. So the barn was copying one door to another was very fun.

Goals

Goal #1 – I want to better my understanding of the gradients in Adobe Illustrator so that I can make sprites.

Goal #2 – I want to better my Photoshop skills with my pictures so that I can make it professionally in the real world.

Goal #3 – I want to better my organization skills so that I can present myself as a neat person.

These goals are not only important for me because I want them to happen but because they are goals that better myself and get me ready for the road ahead of me. Goal one is more for fun than for profession but I do have a limit on how long I have on it is three weeks. The second and third goals both have a two week limit, because I feel that I can get them done in that amount of time.

The tools I used for this project was mostly the brush tool, layers, and free transform, but I already know how to use most of the functions it taught me.  Mostly it told me to create layer masks and use the brush tool to reveal some of what is under the mask. The link for this project are here.

Inner You

knight shadow

The tools  Used to create the shadow itself was that I took the knight image and selected only the knight then masked the rest. And took the paint brush in black and brushed over the knight and turned the opacity down.I used a blur for the knight so that he would blend better into the environment. The connection to the feet with shadow was used with the paint brush in black on low opacity. The displacement of the shadow was done with the shew and warp tool.
